Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales has something for everyone this half term.

Animals is St Fagans National History Museum's main theme this half term. Come to the museum to take part in our storytelling and art workshops.

The National Waterfront Museum, Swansea will be looking at what lies at the bottom of the sea during the half term holiday. Join in the daily marine wildlife show to learn more about life in the Bristol Channel.

Big Pit, Blaenafon, offers an opportunity for kids to dress up as miners, create candles and have a whole lot of fun, next week – there's even a soft play area for the youngest visitors.

If you fancy dressing up as a Roman and practicing your javelin and sword skills, the National Roman Legion Museum, Caerleon, is where you'll want to be heading while the kids are off school.

Dre-fach Felindre's National Wool Museum offers a more relaxing activity with its fantastic Family Trail. Try your hand at carding, spinning, weaving and sewing as you make your way around the museum.

And if it's model railways that gets you going, the National Slate Museum in Llanberis is the place for you. The annual Model Railway Show takes place at the Museum from 23-26 February.

Remember that we've also got fantastic shops in each of our museums. So if you're looking for a special something for someone – call in and see what's available.
