22 & 23 April – Rough Science Takes to the Road: Workshops.

Meet scientists from the popular BBC/OU programme and help build and race a fantastic Mars rover. Supported by the Open University & BBC.

Or if none of this is quite what you’re looking for then come and learn to make botanical drawings in our Painting Plants Workshop, and the talk on Going bats! is sure to be a big hit! On top of all of this of course, is our unique interactive exhibition Biodiversity: What on earth is it? which is still open so hurry along!

Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales is the new name for the National Museums & Galleries of Wales, which operates seven national museums across Wales. These are National Museum Cardiff, St Fagans: National History Museum, National Roman Legion Museum, Caerleon, Big Pit: National Coal Museum, Blaenafon, National Wool Museum, Dre-fach Felindre, National Slate Museum, Llanberis and the National Waterfront Museum, Swansea.

Entry to all national museums is free thanks to the support of the Welsh Assembly Government.
