Dalek Invasion

Swansea's National Waterfront Museum is being invaded by the Daleks this week - but don't worry the Tardis will be on hand to save everyone.

As the temperature rises, so does the action at Swansea's National Waterfront Museum. The latest props from Dr Who arrive, there's also music and dancing and lots more. It's the Museum's first summer and there's something for everyone � what's more it's Free entry for all.

This weekend, July 21 and 22, it's a summer celebration of colour and infectious beats. Samba Tawe and friends strut their stuff on Saturday followed by Radio Wales' Big Buzz on Sunday with Shakin Stevens, The Storys and others � even a Cyberman. City Streets Summer Beats, 22 July 12-4pm

The National Waterfront Museum belongs to Amgueddfa Cymru - National Museum Wales which operates seven national museums across Wales. These are National Museum Cardiff, St Fagans: National History Museum, National Roman Legion Museum, Caerleon, Big Pit: National Coal Museum, Blaenafon, National Wool Museum, Dre-fach Felindre, National Slate Museum, Llanberis and the National Waterfront Museum, Swansea.

The museum is a partnership between Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales and The City and County of Swansea. The National Waterfront Museum was designed by Wilkinson Eyre Architects and the new galleries were developed by Land Design Studio in close cooperation with the team from Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales. The interactive displays were developed by Land Design Studio in conjunction with New Angle. Entry to all the museums is free, thanks to the support of the Welsh Assembly Government.
