Don't Stamp out the Earth!

In Britain, we produce enough rubbish to fill Cardiff's Millennium Stadium every week! If everyone lived as we do, we'd need two and a half worlds.

From 22 August to 3 September, National Museum Cardiff is holding workshops to show how you can make a difference.

Come along and find out how we can harness energy from wind, sun and water with lots of fun hands-on activities.

Don't use your car - cycle or walk. You'll be much healthier and it'll also reduce the amount of pollution on our roads. Save energy in your home wherever possible. You'll reduce the amount of carbon dioxide being released, which contributes to global warming. Save water in your home. Turn off taps while brushing your teeth - it saves ten litres of water a day. And finally, recycle, re-use and reduce the rubbish and waste products you put out as rubbish each week.

These are only a few tips on what you can do to make a difference, but our workshops will be full of fascinating facts and lots of fun, so be sure to come along.
