Did you know that a proper Christmas pudding is always stirred from East to West in honour of the three wise men? A Christmas pudding is traditionally made with 13 ingredients to represent Christ and his disciples and every member of the family must give the pudding a stir and make a secret wish.

These are some of the traditions John Haydn from Llanwit Major will be sharing with visitors while demonstrating how to prepare Christmas puddings at Llwyn-yr-Eos Farmhouse on Sunday between 11am and 1pm and 2pm and 4pm.

The puddings made by John Haydn with the help of visitors, using ingredients kindly donated by Tesco, Culverhouse Cross, will then be cooked and given to the Salvation Army in Cardiff.
