All Steamed Up For Whitsun!

2008-05-19The wheels are in motion for a wicked Whitsun at Swansea's National Waterfront Museum.
The replica Penydarren Locomotive is getting ready to be steamed up – see it run ! (weather permitting 31 May and 1 June). In addition on 1 June, rare Gilbern cars and vintage fire engines will be on display. Visitors will also get the chance to stock up on fresh good and crafts at the Waterfront Monthly Local Produce Market.
There’s also plenty of fun to be had – make a K'nex car and take part in a speed trials challenge (28, 28,30 May). Also see our gruesome anti-suffrage doll and make your own peg doll (25, 26, 27 May).

These are National Museum Cardiff, St Fagans: National History Museum, National Roman Legion Museum, Big Pit: National Coal Museum, National Wool Museum, National Waterfront Museum, Swansea and the National Slate Museum.
