Hallowe'en at the National Slate Museum Llanberis

 If you're looking for some fun family activities to keep young monsters busy this half term and Halloween, then the National Slate Museum Llanberis is the place to visit.

From 29 - 31 October there will be lots of spooktastic events in the run up to Hallowe-en. Children can have a go at the new BAT TRAIL - a count the bats trail that runs through the museum. They can also have a go at making a creepy crafts to take home in the craft workshops held between 12pm - 4pm each day

"Some people find the look of the actual building of the National Slate Museum quite spooky so it lends itself well to this time of year and this type of activity' said Julie Williams, Marketing Officer at the museum. " The bat trail is great because it gets children and families working together and looking through the different rooms and perhaps seeing things they wouldn't normally see, as well as having a bit of fun.'

Also - on October 30th, popular Welsh actress Mari Gwilym will be on hand reading spooky stories and on October 31st the owls of the north Wales Bird Trust will be providing the hoots! All events are between 12pm and 4pm and admission is FREE but there is a charge of £1 for the Hallowe'en craft workshops.
