A green Christmas lies in store at the Waterfront
Date:
2011-11-25The festive season is soon approaching and the National Waterfront Museum in Swansea is going green to mark the occasion.
This weekend (Saturday 26 & Sunday 27 Nov from 10am), a two day Green Fayre will be setting up camp in the Museum’s main hall where visitors can browse over 50 stalls offering environmentally friendly gifts and products such as recycled jewellery, clothes and Christmas cards, fair trade chocolate and snacks and ethical home wares.
Families can also get to grips with nature by transforming pine cones and dried fruit into creative festive decorations. This hands-on, drop in workshop will run from 12pm-3pm and no booking is necessary.
