Halloween is coming, and the ghosts are on the march again in Caerleon

October

The town of Caerleon has 2,000 years of history from which to take its ghosts. Not surprisingly there are Roman soldiers, but also monks and Victorian ladies wandering the roads and houses of the town.

To celebrate all this spookiness, the Roman Legionary Museum will be hosting a Halloween party on Friday 29 October from 6-8pm. There will be plenty to do for apprentice witches and wizards, from testing your nerve in the 'Tunnels of Hades' to keeping a straight face at 'Caesar's Naughty Bits'. And to round off the evening there is a prize fancy dress competition in the museum gallery.
