Late Bronze Age, Medieval and Tudor period artefacts found in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan declared as treasures

Eight discoveries dated to the Late Bronze Age (around 1000-800 BC or 3,000-2,800 years ago), the Middle Ages (from the 5th to the 15th centuries) and the Tudor period (16th century) have today (22nd April 2015) been declared treasures by H.M. Coroner for Cardiff and The Vale of Glamorgan.

World Wide Weave showcases at the National Wool Museum

The Camphill Foundation’s World Wide Weave display will showcase from Tuesday 21 April to Thursday 7 May and is an exciting addition for visitors to the site.

A major new exhibition showcasing the beauty and diversity of contemporary ceramics will be shown at National Museum Cardiff from 18 April to 4 October 2015. Bringing together contemporary ceramics from the Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales and Derek Williams Trust collections, alongside exciting new commissions and significant loans, Fragile? explores ceramics as a vibrant and complex contemporary art medium.
