This is what will be happening at St Fagans National History Museum over the weekend of 10 & 11 September 2016, 10am-5pm as the St Fagans Food Festival returns to tickle the taset buds. Entry IS FREE.

A Spectacular Roman time awaits you at Caerleon this August as the National Roman Legion Museum have organised a fantastic weekend of Roman re-enactment with Empire taking place in Caerleon Amphitheatre on Saturday 27 & Sunday 28 August, 11am-5pm. (Adults £5; Concessions £4 and Family ticket £15).

Following the success of last year's The History Place, many of Wales’ national institutions and local history organisations have come together to create another one at this year’s National Eisteddfod.

 

School holidays are upon us and following last year’s successful summer campaign, Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales, Cadw, the Welsh Government’s historic environment service, and the National Library of Wales have joined forces to offer an exciting children’s passport to explore the wonderful treasures of Wales, from museums, and castles to historic houses and gardens.
