On 22nd August 1969, after over 200 years, work came to an end at Dinoriwg Quarry and silence fell on the valley. Half a century since the quarry was closed, come and find out more about the circumstances of the closure, what happened afterwards and how the museum is commemorating the event.

Cadi Iolen, the museum curator, will be the looking at the history with clips from the audio archive in this informative talk.
