At St Fagans there are many ways you can take part in learning as a group. Whether you’d like to come to explore the Open Air Museum, learn a new skill or spend time discovering the stories told through the wonderful objects displayed in the galleries, there is something for you!

*Please note, certain activities are chargeable depending on the group type. Lunches and refreshments are not provided. All workshops and tours are subject to availability. A minimum of 2 weeks’ notice is required for all bookings.

All pre-booked groups benefit from the following:

  • Free entry
  • 10% off in the museum cafe and restaurant on a minimum spend of £5 per person
  • 10% off in the museum shop on a minimum spend of £5 per person

Workshops and taster sessions could include, but are not limited to:

  • Textile crafts
  • Metal work
  • Leather work
  • Art workshops

Site Tours/demonstrations:

  • Themed historic tours e.g. the Tudor Tour
  • The Castle and Gardens
  • Demo/talk with a Crafts Person (Blacksmith, Clog Maker, Miller, Weaver)
  • Seasonal tours e.g. nature walks/hedgerow bimble; lambing; pond dipping
