Craft and making is at the heart of St Fagans and its collections. Our new galleries are filled with handmade objects - some over 200,000 years old. From the humblest bowl to the finest textiles – the urge to shape, make, mend and decorate and has always been with us.

Join us as we celebrate craft and creativity in our brand new event this weekend.

  • See traditional craft skills in action as our St Fagans family are joined by master crafts people across the Museum.
  • Sign up for a Mini Masterclass to try out a new craft at the very special Craft Weekend price of £20. (Limited places - advance booking recommended)
  • Drop in to one of our family friendly activity sessions. These sessions are suitable for younger crafters and their grown-ups – priced at £5 or less there’ll be lots to choose from. Check the map for choices and locations. No advance booking required – turn up and pay on the day
