Cost Charges apply for some activities
Suitability All

This event has been cancelled due to general concerns over crowds and Coronavirus.  Apologies for the inconvenience but the wellbeing of our visitors, staff and volunteers are our priority.

Craft and making is at the heart of St Fagans and its collections. Our new galleries are filled with handmade objects - some over 200,000 years old. From the humblest bowl to the finest textiles – the urge to shape, make, mend and decorate and has always been with us.

Join us as we celebrate craft and creativity across the Museum this weekend.

  • See master craftspeople demonstrating their skills.
  • Sign up for a two hour mini masterclass to try out a new craft - £20 per person (Age 16+)
  • Drop in to one of our family friendly activity sessions – suitable for younger crafters and their grown-ups. Prices range from free to £5 per person.
  • We’ll be publishing more details as we go along – so watch this space.

Charges, age restrictions and limited availability apply for some activities. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times when participating in activities.

Language: Some of our staff speak Welsh, some are learning and others speak English only. Keep an eye out for the Iaith Gwaith lanyards to see who’s who. If you’re learning Welsh, give it a go!
