Event:Love Your Mental Wellbeing Festival at St Fagans
Celebrate Diwrnod Santes Dwynwen, the Welsh Patron Saint of Love with Amgueddfa Cymru.
Got the January blues?
Find out how museums and heritage organisations can improve your mental wellbeing. Visit St Fagans or and have a go at an activity which can eliminate stress, improve mood and help us deal with everyday challenges.
A range of drop-in and bookable sessions include blacksmithing, spinning, weaving, print making, mindful nature walks and more. Also, meet other organisations who can help with positive mental wellbeing and signpost to further information, support, advice and guidance.
This will also be an opportunity to find out more about the Public Health Wales Hapus Project
Drop-in activities:
- Hand Loom Weaving. In Studio 2 at 11am-12pm & 2pm-3pm.
- Museums Inspiring Memories – find out more about what Amgueddfa Cymru is doing for people with dementia. In Studio 2 at 1pm-2pm.
- Sally’s Angels Choir. At various locations thoughout the day.
- Marketplace for local organisations & groups who can help you improve your mental wellbeing. In the Atrium 10am - 4pm.

Opening Hours
From 4 November until 28 February 2025, we will be open 10am-4pm every day.
Closed 8 January 2025 for staff training.
Parking
If you are driving to St Fagans, you will have to pay for parking. The cost is £7 per day and can be paid by cash or card. FREE for disabled badge holders and motorbikes. £30 yearly ticket in advance. This charge is for parking only – entry to the Museum remains free.

Eat, drink, shop
- Our cafes and restaurant will be open during your visit.
- The Museum shop will be open during your visit.
- You are welcome to bring a picnic to the Museum.
