What is Letterpress Printing?

Before the age of computers and modern printing techniques the world relied on the letterpress for all kinds of publications and is considered by many to be one of the most important inventions of all time.

Letterpress printing uses metal or wooden moveable type which is inked by hand or by the press, before paper or fabric is pressed on a printing press into it, to create a beautiful impression.

  • All materials provided (inks, paper, tools and equipment)
  • You will leave the workshop with at least 10 – 20 finished cards
Please note that lunch is not included in your ticket price, but feel free to bring a packed lunch or to enjoy our onsite facilities.
