Launch of the National Wool Museum’s Exhibition of Hope - Click here for more information!

Launched at the beginning of the nation’s Covid-19 lockdown in April 2020, members of the public, Museum Wales Staff and Volunteers were invited to contribute rainbow coloured squares, in any way they would like, whether that be crocheted, felted, woven or knitted using any materials they had readily available to them, from wool to acrylics. The squares have been beautifully stitched together to create a myriad of colourful blankets by National Wool Museum Volunteers and Museum Wales Staff and will be displayed in a creative way in the National Wool Museum’s Longyard. Take a look at the online Exhibition page which will include the Exhibition’s interpretation ‘Stories of the Squares’ video, time-lapse set up of the Exhibition and walk around of the Exhibition.
