Amgueddfa Cymru excavated in Hoyle's Mouth and Little Hoyle Caves, Penally 1984-1996. This work generated a wealth of archaeological finds dating back as far as 34,000 years ago and the caves were found to have been used intermittently up until the early medieval period. This talk will focus on the prehistoric use of the caves and will discuss the stone tools, animal bones, the changing climate and environment in which people made use of the caves.

This session will be held in English.
