1 February 2020, 11am-4pm
Cost £65 / £55 concessions
Suitability 18+

Hand embroidery is the hottest way to personalise and customise textiles. Under the guidance of Tasha Middleton from Sew Swansea, you’ll gain the skills to stitch your own unique style statement. Sweet and simple, fresh and fruity or loud and proud – you’ll be totally Valentine’s ready!

In the morning you’ll learn to prepare an embroidery hoop for working, then complete up to 10 different stitches to produce a sampler. There will also be a chance to get inspired by embroidered textiles from our collections. Then in the afternoon you’ll create your own embroidered pieces.

This fun, relaxed course is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some experience of textile craft. The price of your ticket includes all materials and equipment required for the day.
