The Recipe
You will need
- a large, thick slice of white bread
- blackberries
- sugar
- a little water
- fresh cream
Method
- Put the slice of bread at the bottom of a pie dish.
- Simmer the blackberries in a little water, with sugar added to taste.
- When soft, pour the stewed fruit over the bread and leave to cool.
- Finally, top with fresh cream.
