Blackberry Pudding

The Recipe

You will need

  • a large, thick slice of white bread
  • blackberries
  • sugar
  • a little water
  • fresh cream

Method

  1. Put the slice of bread at the bottom of a pie dish.
  2. Simmer the blackberries in a little water, with sugar added to taste. 
  3. When soft, pour the stewed fruit over the bread and leave to cool. 
  4. Finally, top with fresh cream.
