Museum confirms programme to commemorate 60th anniversary of the Aberfan Disaster

Ahead of the 60th anniversary of the Aberfan Disaster, Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales has confirmed a programme of activity at Big Pit National Coal Museum, St Fagans National Museum of History and online. The programme will bring together collections, community voices, oral histories, new learning resources, digital access and creative responses to support remembrance, deep reflection and a fuller understanding of the disaster and its lasting impact.
