Milk Broth

The Recipe

You will need

  • approximately one pint skim-milk
  • one tablespoonful oatmeal
  • a little cold water
  • a pinch of salt

Method

  1. Pour the skim-milk into a saucepan and bring it to the boil. 
  2. Blend the oatmeal with cold water and pour it into the milk when boiling. 
  3. Add a little salt, stir and bring it back to the boil.
