Bread and Milk

The Recipe

You will need

  • one slice of wholeweat bread per person
  • milk
  • sugar or salt

Method

  1. Break the bread into small pieces and put in a large saucepan. 
  2. Cover with milk and bring to the boil. 
  3. Serve in bowls and add sugar or salt, to taste.

  1. Break the bread into individual bowls and cover with boiling milk. 
  2. Add sugar or salt, to taste.
