The Sinclair Spectrum+. This machine was probably the one most associated with the home computer "boom" of the early 1980s. Initially launched in 1982 by Sinclair Research, the brainchild of Sir Clive Sinclair, this is an example of a restyled model from 1984. This particular machine was partially manufactured and wholly assembled at AB Electronics of Abercynon.
