Plate cooling bed with plate rolling mill in the distance. On the right is a plate shears. The numerous rollers in the foreground enabled plates to be maneuvered into the shears. Edward Finch & Co of Chepstow built ships and fabricated bridges, as well as building overhead cranes and fabricating large girders, as seen here.
