Cardiff Castle apartments, early 20th century
This image shows the apartments designed by the architect, William Burges, with peacocks in the foreground. From 1866 Burges was employed by the 3rd Marquess of Bute to redesign and refurbish Cardiff Castle in the style of the Victorian Gothic Revival.
