Workshop: Reframing Picton

We have launched new learning sessions for secondary schools to run alongside the exhibition Reframing Picton at National Museum Cardiff.

The sessions explore the work of Laku Neg and Gesiye and their newly commissioned pieces that provide a contemporary Trinidadian perspective to the colonial legacy that Picton was a part of, and allow learners to engage with these two artworks in relation to themes of decolonisation.

Duration: 1 hour

'Spirited' by Laku Neg

'The Wound is a Portal' by Gesiye
