Wales Is... Proud

The Wales is... Proud exhibition was on display at St Fagans National Museum of History until 31 December 2023. The exhibition explored themes of both protest and pride. The exhibition showcased ephemeral objects from the Museum's LGBTQ+ collection such as protest banners and campaign badges, as well as flyers and posters from Pride events held across Wales. The items have either been collected by our team or donated by the public and are a reflection of the everyday lives and lived experiences of the LGBTQ+ community, as well as an accurate representation of their social history.
