Group Volunteering is a great way for community groups to bring people together and to build confidence whilst making a difference at Amgueddfa Cymru.

We’ve had the pleasure of welcoming groups from local charities, clubs, and organizations. They’ve helped us with projects such as gardening, farm work, limewashing and even helped organise archival materials.

We've been guardians of Wales's heritage, art and natural history collections since 1907, and we believe that museums can change lives. By volunteering with us, your group can help ensure these invaluable stories and collections continue to inspire future generations.

We can offer Group Volunteering to local communities’ groups at St Fagans National Museum of History or at Big Pit National Coal Museum.
