Celebrate the end of hibernation by creating a recycled book echidna

You will need:

• An old book (preferably 100 pages or less, or remove pages accordingly)
• Scissors
• Sellotape
• Card for eyes and nose (optional)

Instructions:

1. Starting with the first page of the book, fold the page inwards towards the spine, with a firm crease.

2. Fold in the top corner towards the spine, then do the same with the bottom corner.

3. Continue with each page until they have all been folded.

4. Once you have finished, fan out the pages and Sellotape the first page to the inside of the front cover, then Sellotape the last page to the back cover.

5. Trim the base so that none of the book cover is visible. 6. Create features for your echidna. We used black card with white paint!
