Underground Tour
Travel 90 metres (300 feet) underground and experience a unique and captivating journey around a section of original underground workings led by with one of Big Pit’s Miner Guides.

Enjoy an exciting audio-visual experience with exhibitions of modern mining equipment in the Big Pit Mining Galleries.
Pithead Baths
The Pithead Baths building houses a museum that uses objects and images to tell the story of coal mining in Wales.
Historic Buildings
You can see and interact with various buildings and machinery around the Museum site that would have been crucial to the mining operations at Big Pit.
