This September Amgueddfa Cymru will be celebrating Adult Learners Week again across all seven of our museums with a diverse programme of opportunities for adult learners.

National Museum Cardiff | Audio described tour - The Fossil Swamp | September 12, 10:30am

Join us for an audio described tour of the exhibition 'The Fossil Swamp' and find out more about the tropical swamp that covered what is now Wales around 300 million years ago. 

This free tour for blind and visually impaired visitors will explore the beautifully preserved fossils that tell us about these ancient tropical wetlands. 

1 ticket entitles you to bring an accompanying companion. Please let us know if you intend to do so, or to bring a guide dog or would like a museum guide provided. Booking is essential.

National Museum Cardiff | Clore Discovery Centre | September 13, 2:00pm-4:00pm

This interactive gallery is filled with hundreds of objects from the museum collection that you can touch. Museum staff will be on hand to answer your questions and share some of their favourite objects. Drop in, no need to book.

Come along and join us in Llys Llewelyn, our replica Medieval Hall, for a Medieval Food themed morning for Welsh Learners.

Practice your Welsh, learn about food in Wales during the Medieval era, discover the Welsh Learners Resources available at St Fagans, meet others learning the language and find out about opportunities for Welsh learners. Drop in, no need to book.
