A school trip to National Wool Museum

A school trip to the National Wool Museum will introduce learners to talented craftspeople who will demonstrate the wool-making process from fleece to fabric. Learners will experience the sights and sounds of Wales’s most important and widespread industry.

Learners will also learn crafting techniques themselves as the museum offers a range of weaving and wet felting sessions. The museum staff are flexible and will do their best to accommodate to learners ages and needs.

Facilitator led workshop:

Meet the Craftspeople Explore the restored historic mills, meet the skilled craftspeople and get creative with either weaving or wet felting.

School visits are available Tuesday – Friday, during opening hours. (Closed on Mondays)
