As one of Wales' national institutions which holds a Royal Charter, we send our sincerest condolences to Her Majesty the Queen on the passing of the Duke of Edinburgh.
We have lowered our flags as a mark of respect and will remember the visits by the Royal family to our museums over the years. Read the Welsh Governments' statement here.
