“We’re really looking forward to August, it’s going to a busy and enjoyable month for us and for visitors. Events like these would not be possible without the support of players of the Postcode Lottery. This vital funding ensures we can continue to offer a dynamic programme of events, activities and exhibitions at all National Museum Wales sites.

“We are delighted to be putting the spectacular Empire event on again over a whole weekend in August. Come and step back in time to see life 2,000 years ago and have an activity packed day out for all the family; There will be plenty of interactive experiences for everyone, with the ‘Ancient Games’ – think the Olympics meets ‘It’s a Knockout’, craft activities and archery to chatting to the re-enactors or listening to talks about the Amphitheatre and Barracks. It’s an opportunity to do something completely different and experience a day out to remember.”
