Can you follow the trail and win a special Roman prize at the National Roman Legion Museum in Caerleon this Half Term.

Families can take part in the treasure hunt, whilst exploring the fascinating collections in the Museum, and win a unique Roman prize. It is an exceptional opportunity to learn more about how Romans lived in south Wales and how they influenced everyday life here, and still be hunting for that special memento of your visit.

Activities take place 30 October – 3 November, 11am – 4pm, and cost £1 per child.

If you're looking for something a bit different, you can always bring along the family to take part in traditional Roman Samhain (Hallowe'en) festivities. The festival commemorates this ancient pagan festival, and will include fun and games, as well as a themed fancy-dress competition.

'Samhain' is being celebrated on 31 October, 6pm – 8pm. Tickets cost £1 for adults and £2 for children, and must be booked advance, by calling 01633 423134.
