Join Izzy and other LGBTQ+ environmentalists, artists, gardeners and academics to talk about their work, queer ecology, and their connections to nature and climate as LGBTQ+ people. 

Panelists:

Alys Fowler

Alys is a queer writer and gardener. She likes eating so most of her work concerns food, but she knows that eating is a universal desire so she tries to grow an edible garden that feeds the more-than-human too.  She has written for many different publications from The Guardian, National Geographic, Time Out, Gardens Illustrated, Caught By The River and has published eight books on nature and gardening. She is currently writing a book about bogs. 

Kate Marston

Kate is a Lecturer in Education at the School of Social Sciences, Cardiff University. Their teaching and research is driven by a passion for creating social change for gender and sexual justice within and through education.   

Jasmine Isa

Jasmine (they/she), is a writer, Journalist, Researcher - previously working Wild Space Productions (on a series for Netflix), BBC Natural History Unit / BBC Earth, and Sound Off Films - she is a Wildlife Film-maker, Ambassador for the Bumblebee Conservation Trust, Engagement Officer for the youth led organization A Focus On Nature, Activist, Marine Biologist, Poet and Speaker/Presenter.
