Preserving traditional skills is a core part of National Museum Wales' work, but with wool back in vogue thanks to its natural and biodegradable credentials, the industry’s ‘heritage crafts’ may well become important future skills. We’re delighted therefore, to be training three new trainee Crafters to bring the museum’s collection alive, and potentially develop commercial activity that could support our rural economy and put this region back at the heart of the United Kingdom's wool industry.
