The Trustees are the governing body of the Museum responsible for overseeing the management and administration of the finances and property of the Museum.
Their role is to support the wider strategic policies and actions set by the Welsh Government, as well as fulfilling the statutory duties of Amgueddfa Cymru.
Board members are appointed for a fixed term of four years which is only renewable once. All appointments are made by open competition in line with Seven Principles of Public Life.
