Event:Being Human Festival: Exploring Histories of Labour: inclusive heritage and collaboration
Engage with museum collections to uncover histories of labour within Wales and globally, led by National Trust Cymru.
Academics from Cardiff University and University of Edinburgh and curators from National Trust Cymru and Amgueddfa Cymru will outline the different ways of understanding and representing labour histories from their work at Penrhyn Castle in North Wales. Take part in conversations around how best to interpret and present narratives of labour and exploitation in heritage settings of contemporary Wales.
If you’d like to join an optional guided tour of Reframing Picton, from 4.30-5pm ahead of this event, please book here:
This event is part of Being Human Festival, the UK’s national festival of the humanities, taking place 9–18 November 2023. For further information please see beinghumanfestival.org
