Sir Humphrey Browne (Chairman of the British Transport Docks Board) and official party aboard a Geest cargo liner observing the unloading of bananas from the hold of the vessel by means of an elevator. This elevator lowers the bananas to quayside conveyor belts which transport them into the warehouse.
