Next of Kin Memorial Plaque (or 'dead man's penny'), sent to the named next of kin of those who died as a direct result of First War service. Named as Ivor George John Sparks.
S.S. Tredegar Hall (3,764gt). Completed in 1906 by W.M. Doxford & Sons Ltd, Sunderland, for Tredegar Hall Steamship Co. Ltd. (Edward Nicholl & Co. Managers), Cardiff. The ship was a Turret deck vessel. She was registered at London. In 1917 she was sold to Hansen Bros. Ltd, Cardiff. On 23 October 1917 she was torpedoed and sunk 4½ miles from Flamborough Head.
