Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Ticket holder

Eighteen spring clip ticket holder. Wooden T-shaped base with wooden plate at each end, with nine clips on each side. Empty of tickets. Spring clip ticket holders were widely, perhaps almost universally used by UK bus conductors in the middle decades of the twentieth century. The number of clips was determined by the number of destinations and fare stages on the particular route.
