Bronze Age Gold from Wales
Bowl
Bowl, pale buff stoneware, plain rounded form with turned foot ring, covered inside and under the base with an iron-red glaze and on the outside with a black iron-saturated glaze.
The stoneware traditions of China and Japan are a constant source of inspiration. In particular, the iron-saturated and celadon glazes from the Sung Dynasty, which appeal to me for their refinement and endless subtleties of colour. '
