Content summary :- A film examining the technology of waterwheels in their various forms - undershot, overshot, backshot, breast wheels. As well as examining the use of waterwheels,- for grinding flour, in a woollen mill, pumping water eg china clay and in copper mining, operating a tilt hammer for forging. The film also discusses the restoration and preservation of waterwheels and shows the corn and woolen mills at the Museum of Welsh Life and the Overshot Waterwheel and tilt hammer at Welsh Industrial & Maritime Museum
