Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Ticket holder

Thirty-two spring clip ticket holder. Wooden base with chrome plate at both ends, two rows of eight clips on each side of holder. Empty of tickets. Spring clip ticket holders were widely, perhaps almost universally used by UK bus conductors in the middle decades of the twentieth century. The number of clips was determined by the number of destinations and fare stages on the particular route.
