Iron Age copper alloy horse figurine

This bronze figurine of a horse is gracefully stylised with a narrow waist. The head is pointed with the ears formed from a crest with a v-shaped notch removed and the eye sockets have been enlarged, probrably to take enamel or stone inlay. The legs have mostly been broken off and the animal does not have a tail.
