S.S. THISTLEFORD (4764 gt). Built 1928 by Sir James Laing & Sons Ltd., Sunderland, for the Albyn Line 1950 – Sold to San Miguel Cia Mar SA, Panama, and renamed ARCHON MICHAEL. On the 18th December 1962, she dragged her anchors and grounded at Abu Zenima, and was consequently declared a total constructive loss.
