Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Rumney Pottery, photograph

Photograph captioned 'Rumney Pottery, Cardiff. Another working pottery dating back to the 18th Century having a large kiln placed centrally with the working area around it. The outside walling of the kiln is one of its important parts but not more so than its lining of fire brick which has to withstand the heat of the firing which lasts for many hours. The shelf in the outer wall of the kiln is being used to store old moulds which may be needed again.' Mounted on card. Made for the exhibition RECORDING WALES 3 in 1970/1971.
